MCGalaxy With Cheese (formerly known as [MCGalaxy] With Cheese & commonly referred to as just "CheeseBuild") is a ClassiCube server. Currently owned by [[Saffurry]], and co-owned by [[Skylerzap]], [[Joshua]], and others.

It is the best server on ClassiCube, better than Not Awesome 2 and New Blood combined!

It is a freebuild server that grants a moderate amount of freedom to any user that joins (provided that they do not break any rules). The default rank is AdvBuilder, anyone can build on the freebuild, use draw commands, make their own maps, etc. The only ranks above AdvBuilder are Trusted, Operator, SuperOP and Nobody. The only users who need a promotion are trusted users (the Trusted rank doesn't give you much more than AdvBuilder) and moderators/admins.

MCGalaxy With Cheese has the standard MCGalaxy ranks, but adds two more:

Trusted, which is for users who have gained the trust of the administrators and...

Wanderer, a rank for [[Lusers]] who have repeatedly broken the rules, and have been condemned to roam [[The Woods]] forever.

== History ==

"MCGalaxy With Cheese" used to be the name of a channel on the Discord server [[classifools 2]] named after a McDonalds pun.

In late 2020, Cheese became a private ClassiCube server, with only a few players, and a whitelist. After some time, Cheese decided to open their doors to the public, making it into what it is today.

Cheese was originally hosted on the free [[Eddynetweb]] MCGalaxy server hosting platform; this was until the node it was hosted on stopped working, and the server could no longer boot. We were able to retrieve a copy of the server files. We waited patiently for a couple of months for the node to begin working again, as well as our servers which used it. We lost patience as the server continued to lay dormant; so we migrated it to a PC belonging to [[Joshua]] running [[Windows]] 7. The PC ran the server for a few weeks before its hard drive died and it entered a bootloop. Luckily, the drive that died was not the boot drive where the server was. The PC was able to boot again and the server files were copied to a [[Linode]] run by [[Skylerzap]]. The Linode runs [[Debian]].

They are best known for their worship of Watson, the artificial intelligence developed by IBM. They also worship IBM itself.

== History ==

The Church of IBM was started in 1982, it was not long after the release of the IBM personal computer, the intense leap in technology that the PC represented lead the founders of the religion to believe that IBM was in close contact with aliens, (or perhaps was itself run by aliens) of a higher intelligence and sophistication than humanity. The IBM 5150 PC is speculated by members of the Church Of IBM to bear supernatural abilities.

In the early and mid 1990s, the church was divided, as IBM began losing money, causing members of the church to shun anyone who they deemed "disrespectful" of IBM.

In 1997, IBM's "Deep Blue" supercomputer had played a chess game with a world chess champion...and won. The Church Of IBM was once again convinced that IBM possessed immense power and significance, once again citing the theory of alien contact. Deep Blue became one of the church of IBM's Gods, the god of intelligence.

IBM went on to develop Watson in the 2000s, an artificial intelligence designed to answer questions. Watson won a game of Jeopardy in 2011; after which the Church Of IBM designated Watson as another one of their Gods, the god of wisdom.

Members of the Church Of IBM cannot use any product that is a competitor to one of IBM's, they can use non-IBM products so long as an IBM-branded alternative does not exist. Followers of IBM are often spotted carrying an IBM ThinkPad running the latest compatible Red Hat Enterprise Linux, instead of a smartphone. Before IBM's acquisition of Red Hat, the most popular operating system amongst members of the religion was OS/2.

Mr X's history on the server would begin as his likeness was used as a pseudonym by a griefing "cult" community on the Cheesebuild map. The accounts used the imagery of Mr X as their group banner. It was believed (yet later confirmed not to be) ran by DenshiVideo, a Kiwi Farms user & Scratch YouTuber who supposedly surrendered a few weeks after the raiding incident. The actual Mr X group as been effectively nonexistent since July 2023.

== The actual cult ==
The accounts calling themselves "Mr X" claimed to be from a Discord server known as the "Mr X Barber Cult" also known simply as the "Denshi Cult". The group has joined multiple other public servers on [[ClassiCube]] including Real's Freebuild Server, a map on which they constructed a headquarters & a shrine to themselves with the help of the user [[UnixAdmin]] (who was supposedly not affiliated). The Mr X Cult would usually join servers & spam their name using text blocks most commonly written as "MRX" all over other user's builds. Usually spamming references to their leader Denshi & racial slurs (including the Hard R).

== Mr Y ==
To combat the attack of Mr X on the McGalaxy With Cheese server, the server would come up with the rival to Mr X, known as Mr Y. Mr Y would be portrayed as a Jonestown-like cult leader compared to the grief cult of Mr X. Mr Y would also, as expected, be a furry (specifically a sheep as a reference to Mr X's origins as a farmer). As of August 2023, Mr Y is the only exception to the ban on Mr X phrases and imagery, due to Mitz's request that it shall be an unbanned phrase as long as it is in a context that is praising him.

== The Ban ==
After the cult had died down users [[Fireyhitmyfuse]] and [[Savdolite]] would continue to post about Mr X in ironic memes. Usually posting images of Mr X and referencing the letter X. This would be an almost daily occurrence on the Discord server, almost making it a meme to see if they wouldn't post anything Mr X-related in a day. This would be taken so far as a Mr X edit would be uploaded on YouTube Shorts and posted on the server. At the beginning of the video Discord messages of people criticising Mr X appear, one of these being in Yellow as it was a pinged message. It would soon be discovered that the pinged message in the video was actually a message sent to Fireyhitmyfuse on the MCGalaxy with Cheese Discord server. Due to this discovery, Fireyhitmyfuse would be completely banned from the Discord server and the ClassiCube server. After this discovery, [[Joshua]] would enact a complete ban on any mentions of Mr X in any way other than historically. Savdolite wouldnt get banned tho >w<
